Daniel J. Fife - Counsel/Mediator

Dan is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a specialist in the field of civil litigation. He is a Deputy Judge in Small Claims Court having conducted a variety of settlement conferences involving a wide range of disputes. Furthermore, he has acted as counsel at numerous trials and therefore is well aware of many of the obstacles and pitfalls that parties - both plaintiffs and defendants - face in proceeding to trial. This diverse experience allows Dan to assist in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of your positions in attempting to help you find common ground to achieve a settlement without having to proceed to trial.

As well as this professional experience, Dan had the great fortune of helping to raise six children which required patience and creativity in attempting to preserve harmony in a very busy household!
